Do you know what a tomato plant smells like? I feel like it's one of those IYKYK things. I personally love the scent! The Mrs Meyers scent is a pretty darn close match!
A little goes a long way, and I finally used up my last bottle. We use this for a variety of things, including removing make up. Blake also uses it in his hair (the man has the driest hair of any human I've ever met).
Every month or two I do an order with Grove, my go-to for more natural home/personal products. I started ordering from Grove way back when, and have been sharing my hauls ever since! Because we used to live in a small town, this was the best way for me to get the products I wanted with limited options nearby.
My shopping habits have evolved somewhat, but I still love my Grove boxes! You can use my link to sign up and get 30% off your first order. Plus! If you are new you can use Rakuten for even more cash back. Here's what I got in December:
These are great cleaners for maintenance, when you aren't deep cleaning. For example, I keep a set in our guest bathroom for quick cleanings between guests. That bathroom doesn't get abused quite like our primary bath. Grove had a serious Cyber week sale on these, and each bottle was like a buck. Perfect time to stock up.
Even though I just stocked up on my essential oils, I forgot to get lemon! It's a favorite for the kitchen. So when I saw it was very discounted for Cyber week, I went for it.
You may remember this from last month's haul! It was SO good, I just needed another one for downstairs. I love spritzing it on all our pillows, and living room textiles.
This will be my second time purchasing this set! I wanted to have 2, one to wash and one to have on hand. All you do is add water. I specifically like the scrubbing cloth, it works really well to clean off any build up. Then I polish it off once it dries.
This was just a good price, and I thought it would nice to have a few of these things in our guest room. (We are about to have a lot of company this month and next.) Plus you can never have too many lip balms!
Again, another really good sale price. I need a new make up bag, so I'm thinking of using this for that. Either way, it'll make a great addition to our travel supplies.
In an effort to be nice to my hair at night, I'm trying out these sleeping scrunchies! They are made of satin, and are meant to sleep in. Cute colors too!
Where do these things go?? My stash got depleted so I ordered these hair elastics. Thick hair girlies, if you know, you know. The nylon hair ties are excellent!
I have tried Vitamin C serums before, but I'm not sure if I have given Rooted a go. My skin has been quite dull now that summer is over, so I'm hoping this will help.

This is a great basic facial cleanser, I've used it several times. This was a free gift with purchase, and I'm always happy to have a back stock of things like this so I don't have to worry about running low.
I never want to run out of these handy pods! I keep them under the sink and pop one or two in the garbage disposal every few days. They smell great and keep the sink fresh.
In the same vein, we always keep these on hand. I especially like to use these in the OurPlace Cast Iron pan we use almost daily. You let the pod dissolve, and let the pan sit for a bit before cleaning.
My love of the Grove concentrates know no bounds. I really enjoy using them around the house for typical weekly clean ups, not necessarily for deep cleaning as they are fairly mild.
My favorite! Honestly, if I could only choose one blend for my diffuser for the rest of my life, I'd be happy with this one! It's fresh, but also relaxing!
Eeek! This was a fun item I threw in my cart at the last second, and I'm SO glad I did. It smells incredible! I had planned to keep it in the guest room as a little luxury for anyone staying over, but now I want to keep it in my own room. I think this would also be nice in the living room to freshen up the pillows on the couch.
I have long loved E-Cloths! You just add water. Their glass cleaning cloths are top notch. I haven't really found the perfect thing to clean our stove each evening, so I thought I'd give this a shot.
I would like to find a more budget friendly option for these - but for now I will keep repurchasing! There are times you just need to revive the undereye!
Very excited to give this a try. I have pretty decent skin, but every once in awhile I end up with a blemish I want to treat. I think this will fit my needs perfectly.
You might remember this from a recent haul, but I lost it! It must have found it's way into a random bag or something. My hands have been so dry lately, I just needed to get a replacement.
By far one of the best products Grove makes! We recently had a sick pug, and our living room carpet took the brunt of it. So, I reordered this cleaner because it's obviously a necessity with pets. It works like a charm. (In case you are wondering, Delly is doing much much better - our vet gave us some miracle medicine that helped get her right as rain.)
A favorite! I use this concentrate to make multi purpose cleaner and floor cleaner. I normally go for the 'bluebell' scent since it's my favorite, but I went for Lemon Verbena this time to mix it up.
I've tried to break up with wipes like this, but I just find that on those lazy evenings I'd rather use one of these than nothing at all. They work great and I'm glad to have these back in the bathroom drawer.
I've been thinking about adding some collagen powder to my morning coffee, so what perfect timing to get this free sample. I tried it this morning, and it really didn't taste like anything which was a win!
Absolutely love using these! You just drop a pod into your cookware and let it soak for a bit. The scent is really nice, but more importantly it makes it so easy to clean up burned on food.
I'm just about out of the room spray that I keep in my cleaning caddy, so when I saw this scent in the clearance section I added it to my cart. It's a vanilla peppermint scent which I think is a really nice clean smell - especially this time of year.
I can't find a bathroom cleaner I like more! I use this on sinks and showers (and tubs). It's such a fresh scent and cleans very well. It's in just about every order I make month to month.
I have loved this night cream for years! A little goes a long way, so I haven't had to repurchase it very many times. My skin is so dry right now, so I really appreciate how nice this feels on my face.
Are you a bar soap person or a body wash person? I like both, but probably prefer a bar of soap. This is a great one. I often choose their bar soaps as my free gift of the month because I know I will always use them. I have a small backstock of soaps now, but it's cool that 90% of them were free.
This was a random free gift Grove sent out in an email. I guess it was to introduce a new brand. Either way, I am thrilled to have free vitamins. Especially a Vitamin D since it's so important.
Olly vitamins are a go-to over here. I love them. I have purchased these melatonin vitamins before, but I do try not to rely on them so I don't use them regularly. But, I did use this sample the night before we needed to get up at 5 am the next day and it helped so much.
Really liked this the last time I tried it, so I was happy to get another sample! Bring on all the oils and creams right now - my wintery skin is soaking it up.
I actually had this duster, but the handle fell apart and I put it back together wrong (apparently losing a little piece) and have been using it all this time anyway. It was time to order a replacement, and now I have 2 dusters to rotate with. I really like this duster because it attaches to the pole handle they have for reaching up high.
This dish brush was probably in one of my very first orders with Grove years ago! It's a bamboo handle with a replaceable head once it gets worn out. I was on a cleaning job, and realized this house didn't have a toilet brush - and I forgot to bring mine. So my original brush had to be sacrificed! Obviously, I then needed a replacement and here we are haha.
These are great! You just toss in a pod into your garbage disposal and it helps freshen it up. The scent is awesome. I use these about once a week when I deep clean the house.
Super excited about this (is it lame to be excited about cleaning products?)! I have one in our glass shower for every day use, but wanted one for my cleaning caddy for my cleaning jobs. Love that this one folds up. It's going to be a great help!
I am the first to admit this is overpriced. It's a carpet powder that you leave on and then vacuum up. I only splurge on it once in awhile because it smells so good! It really does refresh your carpet. I have a large living room rug, and recently we got another large rug from a friend for our office. Yay for free rugs! However, that rug smells like it's been in storage, so I wanted to use this powder on it and see if I can freshen it up.
Shall I introduce you to my new favorite scent! Oh my gosh, I love this and I finally figured out why. When I was growing up, my mom used a Caldrea hand soap called Herbs de Provence. It smelled incredible, and we just thought they discontinued it. Well, they didn't - it was just renamed Blue Basil Sage! It's such a great clean, sweet smell. But, more than that it triggers a memory.
This is my 4th Caldrea room spray, and clearly I have a little collection going. They last forever and I have loved every scent I've tried.
Same with this bathroom spray. It has a nice smell, and works really well for weekly cleanings. I like to have two bottles of both this and the toilet cleaner because I don't want to run out.
Totally my secret cleaning weapon. This concentrate lasts forever. I use it in spray bottles for a multi surface cleaner, and I also find it works great on floors with a mop and bucket.
I really love that Grove sends samples. It's always fun to try new things.
Grove offers price matching! This was the first time I tried it. You send them an email with the link to the cheaper item and they will give you a credit in your cart to match the difference. Even though it took a few extra minutes, I saved at least $10 on this order because of it. Their customer service is really good!
If you are new to Grove, I always like to offer you my referral link! That'll get you some free products! If you have any questions as you are looking through their products, you can always ask me - I can almost guarantee I've tried it. Also, make sure you activate Rakuten for cash back too!

This was my gift with purchase for the month! I have a pretty minimal skin care routine, but this is a nice addition. I especially appreciate it's skin brightening promises.
Have I told you guys that I'm cleaning a few houses on the side? We are trying to save up for some traveling and it's been a nice way to put aways some cash. Anyway, one thing that I've been doing in my client's homes is using a room spray at the end. The compliments I get are always how amazing the house smells! Usually I use my Caldrea sprays (these are very pricey, but you just need a few spritzes.). But, I thought with fall coming up, everyone might like a little autumnal scent.
These gloves were my free quarterly gift. (I actually think Grove is doing gifts more often than quarterly now, but I can't remember the details) Super nice to have around.
One of the sillier things I've bought, but never regretted, are the super attractive Grove toilet brushes! In the base of the brush, there is a drip catching stone that eliminates that gross water. You are supposed to replace the stones every so often - but I hadn't yet.
I had not smelled this oil blend before, and it's really nice! I got this oil as my 'birthday' gift this year. They give you a couple of options to choose from. I think it's a nice way to try something new for free.
Do you know how long you should have a hair brush? Asking for a friend, because I do not know. All I know is that my hair brush has been through it and I know I've probably had it way too long! With growing out my hair, I wanted to change it up to keep my hair healthy. I choose this wet-dry brush and have been really liking it! I think it works better on my hair dry, but wet is good too. I have noticed a lot less breakage and fall out!
In our house we have refillable glass soap dispensers, so normally I buy refills for those. But, in my travel bag I like to keep a full size liquid hand soap. Fun fact about me, I cannot stand the little bar soaps they give you in hotels. I bring a hand soap with me on every vacation for this reason. My current bottle ran out on our last trip, so this is my replacement. They last a long time just using them for traveling.
This might be my best cleaning secret. I use this concentrate to make multi surface cleaner, but I also use it on our floors. You need so little concentrate that this is such an affordable cleaner! Bluebell is the best scent hands down.
These are my secret to finally taking vitamins every day! I love them. I keep these by my sink and it's easy to remember to take them as I'm getting ready for the day. (Blake takes the men's version) However, I had a little hiccup on this order. I normally get these from Walmart, but decided to get them in my Grove order instead - and the heat during shipping caused them to arrive in a melted mess. Note to self to get them locally during the summer! Grove's customer service is awesome though and they credited me the amount for this order and gave me an extra few dollars for the inconvenience.
I felt like a detailing brush was something I was missing in my cleaning caddy. Full Circle products always impress me.

Is this my biggest order to date?! Probably. My last few orders just contained a few essentials, so this one seems surprisingly big. A few things lined up to make it that way. First, Grove was doing a 40% sale for Memorial Day. Additionally, they started offering bundles for VIP members and stacked that deal with the 40% off. AND! I belong to their Facebook group, and they did a little giveaway. All you had to do was comment an item you've been wanted to try and they selected a few people to receive credits for that item. I was chosen! Actually, the diffuser I requested was on sale, but they gave me the full credit amount - so I had a few extra dollars to spend. So, while this is a pretty large haul for me, I probably saved as much as I spent.
This was the item I requested in the Facebook group. I always thought it was really pretty, but knew I could get a cheaper diffuser at Walmart or TJMaxx. My kitchen diffuser hasn't been working well at all, so it was actually perfect timing. I don't really understand why it has a light, because the ceramic cover is completely opaque.
I've happily used this countertop spray before, but this is a new scent to me! I probably wouldn't have risked trying a new scent, but it came in the VIP Ultimate bundle. I like it a lot! It's very homey, and sort of reminds me of my grandma or something.
This is something I've been wanting to try. I tested it in 2 of my toilets before reporting back to you. Ultimately, I think it's good. The foaming action is great, and I love the sustainability aspect. I do think I needed more elbow grease that I do with my trusty Method cleaner.
I haven't tried these yet, so I can't attest to them. But, I have had my eye on these for a while to use with our Always Pans. They reminded me a lot of the pad they send with the pans to begin with.
Again, already love this dish soap, but had not smelled Blue Basil Sage yet! Caldrea just does scents so well. This one is really fresh and perfect for the kitchen.
I was actually already stocked up on dish soap, but this came in that VIP bundle and I knew we'd use it eventually! I love the lemon verbena scent, and this soap works great.
An old favorite! I used to use this all the time when we had our glass stove top. Now we have gas, but I really enjoy using this on our stainless sink.
I have used these before since Grove likes to give them as free gifts periodically. I'm not blown away by them, but they do work! These came in that VIP bundle, and I'm happy to have them on hand for our beach vacation next month. It seems like it will be so much easier to pack these that any liquid detergent.
These things smell SO good! If you have burned on food you can toss one of these in your pan and let it soak. It really helps eliminate all the elbow grease. It might be weird, but I like to leave the bag open under the sink because it makes it smell so much fresher under there.
A classic! We don't go through near as much of these as we used to now that we have a dishwasher. But, they are still trusty and great to have on hand.
Another bundle offered these and I thought it was good timing because I was running low on dishwasher detergent. These are something I think are pretty good, but not great. But, the price of the bundle was too good to pass up, and I will absolutely use them.
This was my free gift for this order. I've been wanting one, so talk about good timing. I'm using this to store cleaning cloths - but gosh the uses are endless! I might grab another in the future.
This one too! It smells fresh and works wonders on our sinks and showers.

Grove Collaborative is where I get the majority of my cleaning products and quite of bit of other random household/personal care items too. If you are new to Grove, you can use my link to sign up and get a free gift set! Here's what I got in my order this month:
An all time favorite! I've been using this cleaner a lot more lately, and just loving it. You need so little of it. I mainly use this as a floor cleaner and a multi surface cleaner. The bluebell scent is just so good.
I actually still have my last bottle of this, and it's mostly full. I'm just using it so often now I wanted to have a backstock.
Personally, I have no need for dryer sheets. I just don't think we need them, but my husband feels differently. Since he prefers to use them, I wanted some on hand that weren't all that chemically. Although, these probably are - I should just get some plain, free and clear ones I think. But, I enjoy both Method detergent scents and thought we'd try these out. They feel very different than any other dryer sheet I've ever come across - but seem to work how they are supposed to.
File this under one of the best stainless cleaners I've found. I really prefer to use an ecloth on stainless, but sometimes you need an actual cleaner. This works great and lasts a long time.
I totally bought these because they were on sale, but even the full price is so reasonable! The eyeshadow brush I have is ancient. In fact, I found the blog post where I talked about the Ipsy bag it came in...LOL. Mainly I wanted to get a blending style brush and this fit the bill. I'm so pleasantly surprised. Really great quality and they work just like I'd hoped.
If you want to be a cool aunt (or mom I guess hahah) have these bandages on hand. They are so fun! I've gotten the tie-dye ones, and I also really like their first aid kit. (The travel size is fantastic for your purse!)
A very very favorite. This body wash is actually also a shampoo and bubble bath. I like to keep it in our guest bathroom specifically for the niece and nephews, but it's a great body wash for adults too. The scent is awesome.
Who can't use another hand cream?? This is a great hand cream, though I usually prefer the other scent. I'm not a floral person. But, when it's free, I won't complain.
Do you use bar soap or liquid? I'm actually a bar soap person! It's such a good bang for you buck. In fact, Grove often does bar soap as free samples or gifts - so much so that I probably have enough bars of soap to last me the rest of the year and beyond.
I love Acure products! I want to rave about this sample. First of all, the portion is so so generous. I wanted to try it out immediately, but this would have been a good one to put in my travel supplies. The sample is so generous it will last for several days. The scent is a little grandma-y, but I have nothing but good things to say otherwise.

Ever since I made it a mission to cull our subscription services, I've been very serious about limiting my purchases. Grove Collaborative is a subscription service, but you fill your own box - so I really wrestled with how to go about using it.
I landed on a spending limit and skipping months for now. So, here is a mini Grove haul for April! Just a few necessities and refills.
My favorite Mrs M scent! It's fresh but not too strong. I use this to refill my all purpose spray bottles, and recently I started using it as floor cleaner. This is a concentrate so a little goes a long way!
Same with the tub and tile cleaning concentrate! I like to alternate with using this with the Method cleaner listed above. I feel like I spray this one more liberally since it's more cost effective. It just depends on the type of cleaning I'm going for that day.
I already had the universal handle that goes with this because I have the mop attachment. So, I wanted to grab this duster for the regular kind of dusting, but also because I can use the long handle to dust way up high now. This works really well and I'm really happy to have it.
