Declutter Challenge Day 14 - Media & Living Room

Welcome to day fourteen of the Declutter Challenge! I shared the schedule here. Each day has a 10 minute task, and an option to kick it up a notch and declutter further.

On day fourteen we are decluttering our Media. Think: books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, video games...

And then, if you want to take the challenge to the next level declutter your entire living room. 

I surprised myself, and didn't have much in our living room to declutter. I was happy with our collection of movies and vinyl records. We actually used to have 100s of movies, but went digital a few years ago. So the ones we still have are all time favorites. 

I did find a few books to take to my favorite used book store. They do trades. So, I brought a handful of older hard covers and they gave me store credit. I did pick up one new release, but I still have some money to spend there. Anther option is to take books to Free Little Libraries. And, if you want to try to sell them, I use Pango Books for that. 

Even though my living room didn't have anything to declutter, I decided to take on our front coat closet as well, and I was very happy to get that straightened out!
