In case you missed it, 2 of my cousins and I are attempting to cook our way through the Dinner Tonight Cookbook together. We are taking turns choosing a recipe to make, and are reporting back to each other via text.
This week's choice was the Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Mushrooms on page 153.
Absolutely delicious! This did not photograph well, but usually the most tasty dishes look a bit unattractive. My husband does not like mushrooms, so he made his a more traditional philly cheesesteak. Also, my mushroom totally did not stay stuffed, it sort of fell apart. But, it was so good!
I really liked the addition of the Dijon mustard to the veggies, and I think the mixing in the coconut aminos and fish sauce really amped this up.
