In the month of February I'm hosting a Decluttering Challenge! Every day has a space assigned to declutter. Each task should take about 10 minutes, depending on how much stuff you have. But, if you want to kick it up a notch, I've created a more thorough list that compliments the easier task.
There are also several flex days built in, meant to be a day you can use to catch up or tackle a specific area in your home that's not on the list.
I'm planning to document my own decluttering journey here on the blog, so if you want to participate please follow along!
Tips and Reminders:
> This is a decluttering challenge, not an organizing one. So, while some organization is likely to happen - you should not worry about buying bins or baskets until the challenge is over. Who knows, maybe you'll empty a container in another room and you can use that instead of buying something new.
> If one of the categories does suit your needs, make it fit! For example, if you don't use a purse - empty out your backpack, work bag, luggage, or even those reusable shopping bags.
> I suggest saving an Amazon box this month that you can use to collect your donations during the month.
