Blake and I just got back from an absolutely dream of a trip! We took a cruise to Alaska and also spent some time in Vancouver and Seattle on either end of the cruise.
We spent about a day and a half in Vancouver before the cruise, and just loved exploring the city. We stayed in an airbnb, and just walked the city as much as we could - in addition to taking public transportation.
Here's some highlights:
We walked Stanley Park in the rain. SUCH a mood, haha. It was beautiful and scenic, and even the rain added something special. Highly recommend walking along the sea wall, and if you are adventurous, biking. We spent several hours here.
After that we rode up to Capilano Bridge Park - which was one of my very favorite things from the entire trip! This girl is afraid of heights, and yet, I was just enamored. It's an epic park, and so well done. The bridge gets swingin' when there is a lot of people on it, just fair warning. You need at least 3 hours here to enjoy every scenic trail and overlook. Just spectacular. The gift shop is great as well.
Blake and I enjoyed a stop at Faculty Brewing - we love to try out breweries wherever we go.
And before we boarded our cruise, we spent a morning on Granville Island enjoying the market and lunch on the water.
