Declutter Challenge Day 10

Welcome to day ten of the Declutter Challenge! I shared the schedule here. Each day has a 10 minute task, and an option to kick it up a notch and declutter further.

On day 10 we are decluttering our make up! And, if you wanted to take it to the next level take on all of your toiletries.

This was a very satisfying task! I was able to part with several old make up items and nail polishes. It is always great to reassess what products you are actually using and loving.

Here's a great tip:

Most cosmetic products have a symbol on it to indicate it's lifespan. It looks like a little open jar with a number followed by the letter M. If it says 12M that means it needs to be used in 12 months. There were a few make up items I was considering keeping, but once I saw how old they were - I knew it was time to say goodbye.
