Tommy Hilfiger Boots
It was time to replace my beloved riding boots after several years. I was pretty sad, because I loved what I had - but they were really showing wear. So, after lots of research, I landing on these beauties from Tommy Hilfiger. I'd say these are a lot more dressy than my previous boots and I really like that. They are quite tight in the calf - so if you normally get wide calf boots, you might want to skip these.
New Kindle and Case
Replacing my previous Kindle was something I wasn't really expecting to do. I've had it for a few years, and the color wrap on the back was peeling. So, I just put a cover over it and kept using it since it was still functional. Well, recently the cover I had bought also started to wear. So, originally I was shopping for a Kindle cover. Well, because my Kindle was older, finding a new cover was just about impossible. I even ordered one I thought would work and it was completely the wrong size.
Then, found out Amazon has a trade in program. So, they gave me money to trade in my old Kindle, and 30% off a new one. So, that's what I did. I have the new Paperwhite and I'm in love. It's a huge upgrade. It's larger than the one I had, which is great! Plus, it seems more responsive and quicker.
Magnetic Phone Grip
Well, I did it. I switched to an iPhone. So far, I'm happy with the switch. When I bought the phone, I also bought a magsafe case - which is just about the coolest idea anyone has ever had. I intend to by a car mount, but so far I've just purchased the phone grip and stand. Just so cool and useful.
Is it lame that I bought the exact same Rifle Paper case I've had for my last 2 phones? What can I say? I know what I like!
Apple Watch
And, with the phone change, I also purchased an Apple Watch. I wasn't expecting to love it so much! I'm sure I'm barely scratching the surface on all the features. I mainly got it for the fitness stuff, and I have yet to configure my goals properly.
10/10 love the look of the gold watch! If you have one, are you satisfied with a silicone band, or do you also have a more dressy looking watch band?
Set of Belts
I promise if you ever wear a belt around a dress or even jeans, you'll love the look of these. Especially over a dress, they are great. They are adjustable so you don't have to worry about tucking in the tail of the belt. Plus, it's a set of two, which is awesome.
Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner
Shared this already on the blog, but I just keep finding uses for this! It does an excellent job on jewelry, but I also just tried it on my make up brushes and was so impressed! You can use plain water, but I find it works best with a drop of dish soap.
Hanes Sweatshirt
Also shared this project already, but I bought both the sweatshirt and the HTV on Amazon. It's a men's sweatshirt, but I got a small and works fine.
Dinner Tonight
Currently working my way through the Dinner Tonight Cookbook here on the blog! I learned that if you preorder a book on Amazon it gives it to you at the lowest price it's ever been at after you order it. That's pretty cool!
Yeti Rambler
A gift I bought for my husband. He's got the Yeti coffee mug, but he was using a really scratched up random tumbler we had for iced coffee. So, I bought him this 16 oz rambler and he loves it. Honestly, I think he uses it every day. I may buy him the bigger one next time I need a gift for him. I think it'd be nice for him to have a set all in the same color.
Velvet Maxi Dress
If you need a more wintery fancy dress - do not hesitate to buy this! It fits like a glove and is comfortable. Plus, the velvet look is so fun right now! I bought the emerald green, but it was sure hard to choose. This is one of the dresses I'm planning to wear on our Alaskan cruise for one the formal nights.
Gloves In A Bottle
This is something I'm trying. Since I've been doing house cleaning, I've noticed how hard it is on my hands. Don't come for me, but I hate wearing gloves and hardly do. This is apparently a non-greasy lotion that shields your hands even with hand washing. So, we will see if it helps!
