2015 Memory Jar

Wednesday, March 4, 2015

One really cool idea that I've seen floating around Pinterest the last few years is creating a memory jar. The idea is that throughout the year you add bits and pieces of your day to the jar, and on December 31st you empty the contents and look back at your year! You can add things like notes, tickets, drawings, anything that will fit!

It's still the beginning of the year, so you still have time to start! We just used a large jar we had in the cabinet and made a little 2015 label. It's been fun adding little notes! I'm excited to open it at the end of the year, and to see what Blake has thrown in.

Leave me a comment: Have you ever done a memory jar? What would you include?

  1. I've never done a memory jar, but that's a great idea. Hmm...I would do movie tickets, concert tickets, plane tickets, notes, etc? Maybe write down fun date nights, memories, or good times we had too. Sometimes you'll think something's so funny, and forget what it is a couple months later...I'd like to remember those moments. Thanks for the idea.

    1. I can't wait to look back on it! I know my husband will love to see the traffic warning I got a few weeks ago...hehe!
