The Grand Canyon North Rim

Monday, November 4, 2024

Technically, the Grand Canyon North Rim was closed when we visited. You can still go inside the park, but the visitor's center is closed. A few restrooms were open though. We had the park to ourselves!

We have been to the South Rim before, and I truly think you need to do both! They are so different, but both so beautiful! We loved seeing the canyon from the highest view at Imperial Point. We did the hardest trail I've ever done - the North Kaibab trail. This is the one people take to go Rim to Rim. We only descended 2 miles down into the canyon and then 2 miles back up. It was an elevation change of 1400 feet! SO challenging, but awesome. The views were incredible.
