In case you missed it, 2 of my cousins and I are attempting to cook our way through the Dinner Tonight Cookbook together. We are taking turns choosing a recipe to make, and are reporting back to each other via text.
This week's choice was the Zaatar Crusted Lamb Chops with Roasted Carrots and Herb Drizzle on page 150.
Attention everyone! This was my very first time cooking lamb! As much as I love to cook, you'd think I would have given it a try in the last decade and a half. Overall, this dish was not hard to prepare at all. The roasted carrots were awesome, and we also did roasted potatoes. The purple carrots didn't photograph super well, they look kinda burnt - but I swear they were great. The herb drizzle was also really yummy. The lamb chops were pretty good in my opinion! Blake wasn't a huge fan though. We both agreed we'd rather have just had a steak.
