Judges 19:15
"So they stopped there and went in to stay overnight in Gibeah. Once inside, they sat down in the public square of the city, but nobody took them into his house to stay overnight."
In ancient Israel it was common for travelers to stop for the night in the public square. At Judges 19:15 the people had an opportunity to offer hospitality to the travelers, but they selfishly didn't show kindness. Because love is the foundation of our worship, we want to make sure we show kindness and hospitality whenever possible even if we don't have much to offer. And when hospitality is extended to us we should accept it appreciatively.
