Deuteronomy 32:46
"he said to them: 'Take to heart all the words of my warning to you today..."
At Deuteronomy 32:46 the Israelites were encouraged not just to know the warnings, but to 'take them to heart'. We can also apply our hearts to God's word by meditating on what we read. We can do this by asking ourselves questions about what we are studying, like: What does this teach me about God? What qualities of His do I see here? or How does this information connect with what I already know? This will help us not just gain knowledge but also develop appreciation for it.
