Blake and I visited Zion in 2020 for our tenth anniversary trip. It was incredible! Such a weird memory though, because we went in early March 2020 - and when we got home from this trip the whole world was shut down. Just wild timing. Anyway, we loved Zion so much we knew we'd be back. So, here we are!
We actually devoted 2 full days to Zion, and I don't think we saw everything we wanted to see. Ultimately we did both of the Emerald Pool trails, the Canyon Overlook trail, and we took the trail that gets you to The Narrows. We also thoroughly enjoyed the visitor's center and made multiple trips to the Lodge. Who doesn't love a beer after a hike?!
The crowds were so overwhelming. Apparently that's pretty normal, but our previous experience was so different I wasn't expecting it. Plan accordingly!
