I'm always looking for an extra buck here and there, and I know in this day and age of inflation you probably are too. Here's a few apps that I use to make and earn some extra cash! If the app tells me how much I've earned using it, I'll be sure to mention it below.
Evidation
This is a cool app that you connect to your fitness apps, and you get points per activity. Basically points for being healthy! The best part is, it's passive. But, you can earn extra points here and there by answering questions. At 10,000 points you can cash out! I find it's really easy to get to 10,000 points. You can use my link to sign up and you get some bonus points to start off with.
Fetch Rewards
Fetch Rewards gives you points for scanning receipts. Any receipt. You get points based off your purchases, and then you can trade points for gift cards. Most of the time I cash out for Amazon gift cards!
I also have a referral code for Fetch! Use code: DCHUC when you sign up and you'll start off with 100 points. Digital receipts count too! You can link it to your Amazon account and get points for those purchases too.
Ibotta
Ibotta is something I don't use as much as I used to, but it still earns me money here and there! You scan you receipts and you can get rebates for certain groceries at specific stores. My referral code is: RXVOPCH, and if you use that when you sign up you'll get $10.
Rakuten
I'm shocked, but Rakuten just told me I have gotten well over $700 in cash back since I started using it. Just wild! It's free money! They have an app, but I also use the browser extension when shopping online.
You can use this link to sign up and get $30.
Mercari and Poshmark
I use both apps to sell used clothing and some household items! I actually wrote an extensive post on the differences between the 2 apps here. I think my favorite is Mercari! Most of the time, I'll sell and item and keep my balance in the app and use it to buy something new for myself. According to Mercari I have just over $700 in revenue and just under $500 with Poshmark. Poshmark is also offering $10 to shop with if you use my code to sign up: keswoolsey
Google Opinion Rewards
This is Google's survey app. Every once in awhile I'll get a notification that they have a question for me. It's usually 2-3 questions about random things. You get a few cents for each question answered. So, while you aren't getting actual cash out, they do give you Google play store money. I personally save it up for a while and buy an audiobook or ebook that my library doesn't have. In total I have earned $280 with this app.
I'd love to hear from you in the comments below! Do you use any of these apps, or are some of them new to you?
