One | I'm at 365 days on Duolingo! Learning Spanish has been something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I do not feel like even after 365 days on Duolingo I know Spanish. It has helped a great deal and I will say I definitely feel like I know more than I did in an entire year of High School Spanish. After a few months I ended up paying for the full version of the App and I feel that was 100% worth it for me. Also a few weeks ago they revamped the learning path and it's way better for me. So anyway, I'm going to keep it going!
Two | I'm starting Whole30. A few months ago, my Dad got diagnosed with Celiac disease. Making him my 4th direct relative that has it. Because of that I got tested for it myself. In short, I got some interesting blood work back and I want to do everything possible to support my body right now. (I don't have a diagnosis as of yet.) Whole30 has always been on my radar, but I thought it was pretty extreme. And, I'm not a fan of extreme to say the least. But at this point, I feel like it won't hurt anything to eat more vegetables and whole foods. More on this journey later!
Three | I finally had COVID. I really thought I was one of those people who wouldn't/couldn't get it after these 3 years of dodging the virus. Anyone and everyone around us has been sick at some point, and we've had some close calls - but it wasn't until this past week that I got my own positive test. Ugh. Honestly, it was probably super mild, but still miserable.
