Sharing a peak into my week:

Work, Work and More Work

I promise I'm not complaining that I have a job! But, I feel like all I ever do anymore is work! It's amazing how when I started working mostly from home the lines of business hours blurred. I find myself working on my laptop in the evenings, something I never would have done before WFH.

If you are new around here, I work part time in my family's Real Estate firm. We do appraisals and buying and selling. I wear many hats, but one thing I really love is doing is taking listing photos and all the marketing. I create flyers, social media posts, virtual tours, email blasts, and I manage our website. Real Estate is booming right now, so we are just riding the wave.

You'll have to tell me what you do for your day job in the comments below!

Revive Order

Just replenished my essential oils with a couple of favorites! Revive has such great prices for great quality oils. If you don't try anything else you have to get the Pumpkin Pie blend! It makes our house smell so cozy. (I review Revive essential oils in this post.)

I also picked up this fun diffuser from Walmart! It's such a pretty diffuser. I've seen it in the store before, but I finally bought it. In our old house I had a large diffuser in the kitchen, and because it was such a small place the scent filled most of the house. In our new house the layout is much more airy so I wanted to add another diffuser to our living area.

At Home Pedicure

Another silly Walmart purchase, but it ended up being such a treat! My skin has been ultra dry this winter and this foot mask was just what I needed. It came in a plastic slipper, and you put your feet in one for 30ish minutes. It was such an inexpensive treat. I honestly needed to do it twice, my skin is still so dry!

'Spring' Cleaning

I don't know what it is, but I've been in a big spring cleaning mood. When I feel like this, I just have to ride the wave and take advantage of the extra motivation! My mom got to benefit from it this week and we tackled her garage. She is a Realtor so a big portion of it was wrangling all her signs and flyer boxes. This GIF shows the before and after, and while it doesn't look dramatic, it really felt better!

We've lived in our new house for about 3 months now, so I'm starting to see what we do and do not actually need/use, so I am attempting to do a second wave of decluttering. This week I managed to fill Blake's civic trunk with stuff to donate.

Our new couch is supposed to arrive at the end of the month and we are considering getting a new entertainment center-so the living room will probably feel the most different! I'm sure you will see more organizing projects in future weekly diary posts.

January Grove Order

In the past, I would have done an entire dedicated post to my Grove Collab order, but I literally only got 5 things in my order this month! Actually, I think all of my orders will continue to be this small for awhile because our town got a new Publix recently with a huge selection. That was one of the reasons I signed up for Grove in the first place-there wasn't much to choose from locally. I made a rule for myself that if I can get it with my groceries, I will most likely not include it in my Grove orders anymore.

This month, I got:
My trusty Rooted Facial Wipes. I use these to remove my makeup at night and clean my face before bed. They work great! I'd like to stop using single use items one day, but for now they are extremely convenient and make me wash my face when otherwise I'd talk myself out of the effort.

Grove Sponges. These are excellent sponges, and I used to get them every month. Now that we have a dishwasher I don't need them as often, but I prefer them to any other sponge.

Daily Shower Spray and Glass Concentrates. Another favorite! I love these and almost always need to replenish my back stock.

Peach Body Bar. This was free! I love the Peach line. They have new shampoo and conditioner bars that we've really enjoyed using. This is a traditional soap, and it's amazing. I love how eco friendly bar soap is. Not to mention it seems to last much longer.

What are you up to this week? Leave a comment below and tell me what you've gotten in the mail this week? Does anybody else have the urge to clean and start 2021 fresh? And don't forget to tell me what you do for work!
