Joshua 10:25
"Then Joshua said to them: 'Do not be afraid or be terrified. Be courageous and strong for this is what Jehovah will do to all your enemies against whom you are fighting."
We can imitate the courage displayed by Joshua and the Israelites mentioned at Joshua 10:25 as we face similar intimidating situations today. Courage is not self reliance, but it is a result of getting to know God and relying on him. If the nation of Israel was going to be courageous and strong they had to listen to, learn and obey the law of Jehovah. We can also develop courage by studying the Bible, and praying regularly.
