Deuteronomy 22:8:
"If you build a new house, you must also make a parapet for your roof, so that you may not bring blood guilt on your house because of someone falling from it."
At Deuteronomy 22:8 the people were instructed to build a protective wall around their roofs for safety. We can also make sure that our cars and homes are as safe as reasonably possible. We can follow this principle by obeying traffic laws, having our cars in proper working condition and avoiding reckless things like texting while driving. By doing this we will be showing respect for human life.
