My family kicked off summer vacation with 3 days at Disney! Not going to lie, it was pretty hot, but we still enjoyed ourselves immensely. We did an Animal Kingdom Day, an Epcot Day, and then my parents headed home while we stayed with my sister's family for one last day at Hollywood Studios.
The crowds weren't bad, and we purchased Genie+ so we could get the most out of our weekend. (It's so annoying - I hate being on my phone all day, and I despise the nickel and diming...but it's still worth it. We got to ride every single thing at all 3 parks.)
By far, the highlight that my 6 year old nephew Lennox was tall enough for every single ride this year! He was just shy of the mark when we went last summer. He was thrilled! So brave too. Watching him have the time of his life was such a joy.
We also tried Nomad Lounge for the first time at Animal Kingdom, and we loved that experience. Everyone agreed Guardians of the Galaxy was the best ride ever. Wish we could have rode that a few more times honestly.
My very favorite summer Disney outfit is athletic shorts, a Disney t-shirt, and a sports bra. It's the most comfortable and dries nicely. This time though my sister and I had fun matching at Animal Kingdom in Athletic dresses. It was super cute to match. Not sure if I recommend an athletic dress at Disney though - it made the bathroom experience kinda weird. 😂
