Getting this post up quite late on Thursday, but it still counts! What a weird week, and I think this random post reflects that well. Between selling our house, work, and all of the craziness in between I've decided to make a conscious effort to focus on the positive and the little things that are going well!
One | If you looked in our dirty laundry, all you would see are yard work clothes, clothes stained by paint and caulk, or just general comfy/lounge wear. So, something I absolutely loved doing was getting fully dressed on Sunday and feeling like a real human!
And yes, I'm in a sleeveless dress. Because it's still 1000 degrees here. But, if the weather forecast is correct we should see highs in the low 70s this weekend! Definitely something positive.
Two | The pugs always bring us such joy. I've loved having all this extra time at home with them this year. I am worried about how they will do with our move, but the vet prescribed some anti anxiety medication that should help tremendously!
I'm just grateful for my little cuddle buddies. I have tons of pictures of all three pugs, but I have to admit Winston is the most photogenic...I mean come on, look at that face!
Three | Treats! We've been on the go so much lately that our eating habits are completely trashed. It's hard to cook when you are in the midst of packing, and all the back and forth trips to the hardware store have made for some interesting meals. But, I did completely indulge in an Icee this week and oh my gosh it was delicious. My siblings and I were obsessed with Icees as kids! It was such a throwback, and the caffeine fix defiantly helped!
What was your go-to treat at a gas station when you were a kid?! This was such a fun conversation to have with my husband. His was....get this... Mountain Dew and a Hershey's cookies and cream candy bar. 😝
