April Goals

Tuesday, April 2, 2019

Whoops, not only did I neglect to get this post up on time (I try to post every Monday!) but I didn't even post my goals in March. In my defence, my goals for March were basically the same as February. I wanted to get back to basics and solidify my daily routines. I definitely feel like I made some strides in that arena. Although, this is something I will constantly work towards.

Here is what I'm going to work on in April:
Have yard sale. It's sort of become a tradition for us to have a yard sale in the spring. I'm so ready to get this on the schedule. My mom and my sister have both moved in the last few months and so all their yard sale stuff is in our shed too. I'm really ready to have all that crap out of there. I'm also eager to make a little extra cash too.

Organize shed. Hand in hand with the yard sale will be taking an afternoon to organize the shed. I was able to do the whole house in the last few weeks, so I'm eager to tackle this last space.  It won't be too difficult once all the clutter is out. I've got quite a hoard of party supplies that I want to organize better.

No spend month. I know a lot of people try very strict no spend months, and it can be quite beneficial for the budget. I'm not really interested in doing something rigid-but I do think I can cut back this month. No new clothes, extra eating out..stuff like that. We will see how it goes!

Mulch. One last thing on my spring cleaning list! I've been avoiding putting out new mulch because our oak trees always shed so much this time of year. First it's the leaves, then it's these weird pollen pods. After I'm positive all the mess is over, I need to mulch all of our flower beds!

Let's Chat! Leave me a comment and tell me what you are working on this month!
